About Us
Business Travel Net has been providing an on-line service to the Business Travel community since 1996.
Our simple objective way back then was to establish a focal point for business travellers and travel arrangers, largely to overcome the basic inefficiencies of the Internet - it was never to judge the quality of design or content of the sites we featured.
Over the intervening years the number of relevant "business travel" sites has grown considerably; their quality and content have, on the whole, improved as the Internet itself has matured.
Though the travel community in general, and the business travel sector in particular, has recognised the value of publishing material on the Internet for consumer and trade use, the sheer volume of available information, much of it now very interactive (with e-commerce, e-tickets etc.), is making the necessary task of using the Internet to arrange travel even more complex and frustrating.
And so, though it might have been expected that our service to the Business Travel community would have become redundant through greater sophistication of the Internet and the greater understanding of its users, it seems the reverse is true and the need for a totally focussed businenss travel "portal" is as great, or greater, now than when began our crusade in the last century.
However, we are not ones to rest on our laurels - though our business travel news section has rightly received critical acclaim throughout the business travel world, we are always looking for ways to improve our service.
